Welcome friends and family of Christopher Kota.

On May 12, 2007, Saturday before the Mother’s Day, Christopher woke up from a good night’s sleep. The night before that morning he went to his grandson, David R. Addapalli’s piano recital. It was a wonderful event. After that Christopher had a nice dinner with Margaret (wife), Manju (Christopher’s daughter) and David.

After waking up on Saturday morning he quickly found out that he had trouble walking and speaking. And his blood pressure was very high. 911 came very quickly and Christopher was admitted into the UAMS (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) hospital by 9:00 a.m..

Doctors examed him and found out that Christopher had a severe hemorrhage in the brain in places too deep to operate and evacuate . He went in to a deep coma soon after he came into the hospital.

Christopher received all the medical care necessary and was placed on life support. However, after numerous tests, the doctors found out that there was no activity in the brain and the massive bleeding had stopped blood from perfusing his brain. He was in the stage of brain death and mainatained on life support.

Christopher passed away peacefully in the morning of May 16, 2007. He was surrounded by family and friends.
